Santiago & Friends Academy

Santiago & Friends Academy is a private school whose mission is to provide children with autism and other related disabilities with the appropriate educational tools needed to succeed and flourish. SFA staff bring a unique perspective and skill set necessary to intervene with complex and variable needs.

SFA provides an ABA based education which uses goal setting and positive reinforcement to inspire the individual achievement of the child. We understand that parenting starts at home and the school is extension of that training so our parents are part of our education program. Santiago & Friends Academy promotes the highest standards to build your child’s inborn strengths and positive character traits that they innately possess with the guidance necessary in our classrooms.

Autism is such a wide spectrum that SFA understands that a one size fits all model of intervention and education will not work. Our private school offerings will provide a character-based education which utilizes goal settings, merit reward system, positive reinforcement through applied behavior analysis techniques to inspire the individual achievement of each child.

In planning and implementing each child’s Individual Education Plan, Santiago & Friends Academy will:

  • Think of each child as an individual
  • Establish developmental appropriate expectations for competence
  • Encourage the child’s growth both mental and physical
  • Meet each student’s needs
  • Provide motivation critical to attention and learning*
